Brian Pulido is founder, publisher and chief creative force behind Coffin Comics, the outlaw independent comics label that publishes the “Coffinverse” line of graphic novels including: Lady Death, La Muerta, Hellwitch and other heavy metal inspired supernatural comic books and merchandise.

A lifelong comic book fan, Mike MacLean co-writes Lady Death, La Muerta, and Hellwitch with the infamous Brian Pulido, founder of Coffin Comics. Mike is also the screenwriter behind the hit Syfy movies Sharktopus, Piranhaconda, and Dinocroc vs. Supergator, all produced by the legendary Hollywood rebel Roger Corman. In addition to creature features, Mike wrote the raunchy comedy Attack of the 50 foot Cheerleader and the military thriller Operation Rogue.

Richard Ortiz is an illustrator from Montevideo, Uruguay. He’s been working in the American comic book market for over 20 years. Long time Lady Death artist, worked on Coffin Comics, Zenescope, Archie, DC, Boom, among others. His main focus is covers, influenced by Art Nouveau and classic pinup artists.
